Princesses & Knights of Seaview visit Glenarm Castle.

To finish off our castle topic, Mrs Moran and Jackie took the children on a tour of Glenarm Castle. It was really enjoyable and the children showed exemplary behaviour! The children noticed the arrow loops in the castle walls, the battlements, the portcullis and the Barbican. The children thought the river worked as a pretty good moat! We spotted lots of animals on the coats of arms on the castle walls just like the lions and other creatures we painted onto our shields.

It was a lovely way to end our 'Once upon a Time' topic and a big thanks to the staff at the castle for letting us walk around. It was a real treat!
